VIGALONDO’S DANIELA FOREVER TO BE PREMIERED IN FEBRUARY

DANIELA FOREVER, the new film by Nacho Vigalondo, will be released in theaters in Spain on February 28, 2025.

The movie, which has just signed a U.S. distribution deal for its 2025 release had its premiere  at the Sitges Film Festival. Vigalondo, a regular at Sitges, who previously presented Timecrimes, Extraterrestrial, Colossal, and the episode he directed for the series Stories to Stay Awake, returns to the world’s most important genre festival to compete in its Official Selection.

 Synopsis:

Life loses all meaning for Nicolas (Henry Golding) after the loss of his girlfriend Daniela (Beatrice Grannò). One day, he is invited to take part in a clinical trial that allows him to control his dreams, and he agrees, hoping to recover. Now, Nicolas can dream of Daniela every night and continue their relationship, more idyllic than ever, even if only in dreams, while risking losing himself in them forever.

The film stars two internationally known actors, Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, The Gentlemen) and Beatrice Grannò (The White Lotus, season 2), and also features Spanish actors such as Aura Garrido, Rubén Ochandiano, and Nathalie Poza.
