LA VAMPIRA DE BARCELONA TO BE AT SITGES 2020

This  film has just  been announced as part of Sitges Film Fest 2020.

The film is directed by Lluís Danés, written by María Jaén, produced by Filmax, TV3 and Brutal Media and starred by Nora Navas (Dolor y gloria, Durante la tormenta), en el papel de Enriqueta Martí, y Roger Casamajor (Pa negre, El laberinto del fauno), en el del periodista que investiga el caso. En papeles secundarios figuran Bruna Cusí (Estiu 1993, Incerta glòria), Sergi López (El niño, El laberinto del fauno), Francesc Orella (Merlí, 7 razones para huir), Pablo Derqui (Salvador, La catedral del Mar) y Núria Prims (Incerta glòria, Hospital Central).

It is based on the life of Enriqueta Martín, who was a Spanish child serial killer, kidnapper, prostitute and procuress of children. She was called The Vampire of carrer Ponent , The Vampire of Barcelona and The Vampire of the Raval in the press.
