POSTER AND MORE: IRATI NEW FEATURE BY PAUL URKIJO

Paul Urkijo (ERREMENTARI) is working on a new feature film called IRATI. The shooting was finished in November in the Basque country. The movie is inspired by El ciclo de Irati comic books and set in the dark times of 7th century.

It was made in Euskera and based on Basque mythology. Main stars are a principal,Eneko Sagardoy (Handia, Patria), Edurne Azkarate (Gutuberrak), Iñigo Aranbarri (Patria, Nora), Nagore Aramburu (Loreak, Patria), Elena Uriz (Akelarre, Lo nunca visto), Iñaki Beraetxe (Ostertz, Ocho apellidos vascos), Ramón Agirre (Errementari, Handia), Kepa Errasti (Loreak, Lasa y Zabala) and  Itziar Ituño (Money Heist).

The story follows Irati, a young girl who will guide a group of Christian and Muslim warriors through a journey in an ancient mythological world where everything that has a name exists, in an attempt to recover a lost treasure.
