J. A. Bayona (A Monster Calls, El Orfanato) is directing the two first episodes of a new series based on The Lord of the Rings for Amazon Prime Video. It has been written by JD Payne and Patrick McKay
Bayona also will executive produce alongside his producing partner Belén Atienza.
