SHORT REVIEW: THE LAST SCRIPT AKA EL ÚLTIMO GUION
By Elena Anele (*)
EL ÚLTIMO GUION is a short movie based on Ossorio’s templars directed and written by David García. It was produced by a crowdfunding campaign and it main stars are Lone Fleming, Loreta Tovar, José Lifante, Marian Salgado and Antonio Mayans.
It is said to be a tribute to this Spanish Horror icons figures and it is, best thing is the recreation of the Templars and FX but there is a story behind, which main star is Lone Fleming, that I couldn’t understand properly or that makes no sense at all.
It is a 15- minute or less flick made of “experimental” scenes in the countryside with some crazy dialogues between the classic actors mentioned before- whose appearance it is kind of petty.
It was premiered in a fest in Madrid and shown somewhere in Spain, but the tour was short, and I can know understand why.
Actually, it is not the kind of tribute I wanted to watch or the one Ossorio deserved.
