100 SPANISH SHORT MOVIES YOU MUST WATCH (II)
Let’s start this second episode with most iconic short film by the first Spaniard working on fantastic genre: Segundo de Chomón, the Spanish George Melies from Aragón. It also includes a work by Javier Fesser (El Milagro de P. Tinto), a filmmaker on the edge of fantasy.
FADE and EL TREN DE LA BRUJA are two of more famous shorts in the last 20 years. The success of both made Eugenio Mira (The Birthday) and Koldo Serra (The Backwoods) cult directors- even before their first features.
To complete the list I have included some from directors who have just launch on their first movies (Iván Ruiz Flores, Manuel Arija) and others successful ones at fest (Uyuni, La cruz and Horizonte).
Enjoy the show!
