COMIC: SUPERSONIC MAN 2020
Héctor Caño has been on Supersonic man comics for a while, in 2014 (http://spanishfear.com/274/) 2017 (http://spanishfear.com/preview-supersonic-man-brought-back-to-life-on-comic/) some months ago with the 40-anniversary special box that you can see in our YouTube preview: https://youtu.be/HrziaFnRRko and…. NOW what you can see on the picture including some cool extra material
Here it is a new issue of the J.P. Simon superhero called Un Hombre Solo contra el España (Just a Man against Spain). Mr. Caño is once again behind the screenplay and the drawing- you can see some samples in pictures included in this preview- with the help of Luis Esquinas– director of J.P. Simon’s Jigsaw, a documentary on the Spanish filmmaker-, José Luis Alonso and José Ortega.
In this adventure – written and published in Spanish- our hero finally defeats the villain Doctor Gulk but it seems he and his beloved ones are not going to be safe after all. His alter ego is attacked by Pedro Álcazar a new character who works for evil powers and he may not survive… after this aggression Supersonic will abandon our world and fight new forces that are threatening Spain. I can say no more without spoiling the story. Only thing I can add is that there is a new cool heroine called Fantastika: Supersonic Girl in the development of the narrative.
As a bonus there is a little article with some quotation from JP Simon book published by Caltiki.
Another amazing work which follows the old stories of the character created by J.P. Simon that fans would enjoy, it is not only retro and pays tribute one of our favs of Spanish Horror and Fantasy but also because it seems to have been updated with some political and social issues we are now experiencing here.
